School Funding Allocations

For Information

Updated school funding allocations have been published and can be downloaded from www.barnet.gov.uk/school-funding

The main changes are:

  • Pupil Premium FSM – revised allocations as advised by the ESFA (Service Child/ Post-LAC allocations are not yet confirmed).
  • Universal Infant Free School Meal grant – allocations as advised by the ESFA. The figures are the balance of 17/18 allocations and a provisional 18/19 allocation.
  • Early Years allocations – revised funding based on the summer term census data, including 30 hour funding and EYPP where pupils are eligible. The Early Years report shows the actual hours, IDACI and EYPP claimed.

Business rate (NNDR) allocations have also been amended with corrections where schools have submitted revised bills. Schools are funded for the actual cost of NNDR so allocations have been updated to match the bills.

Please refer to the News page to view the summary of changes.

If you have any queries please contact the School Funding Team at: schoolfunding@barnet.gov.uk
